Welcome to the HaitiXchange.TV community!

HaitiXchange.TV exists to inform, educate, entertain, and connect people interested in Haiti and the global Haitian diaspora. We encourage thoughtful discussion and welcome a wide range of perspectives. To keep conversations respectful and productive, all participants are expected to follow these guidelines.

Be Respectful

Treat other community members with courtesy and respect. Healthy debate is encouraged, but personal attacks, insults, harassment, intimidation, or abusive language are not.

Stay On Topic

Keep comments relevant to the article, video, or discussion. Off-topic posts, repetitive comments, or spam may be removed.

No Hate Speech or Discrimination

Comments that promote or encourage hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated.

No Misinformation

We encourage the sharing of opinions, but please avoid posting information you know to be false or misleading. When making factual claims, especially regarding news or public affairs, consider providing credible sources.

No Threats or Illegal Content

Do not post content that encourages violence, criminal activity, or harm toward individuals or groups. Threats of any kind will be removed and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Protect Privacy

Do not publish anyone’s personal information without their permission, including addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, government identification numbers, or other private details.

No Advertising or Self-Promotion

Comments intended primarily to advertise businesses, products, services, fundraising campaigns, or social media accounts may be removed unless they are directly relevant to the discussion and have been approved by HaitiXchange.TV.

Respect Copyright

Only post content that you have the right to share. Do not upload copyrighted material without permission.

Language

Comments may be submitted in English, Haitian Creole, French, or Spanish. Please keep your language respectful and appropriate for a broad audience.

Moderation

HaitiXchange.TV reserves the right to moderate comments at its sole discretion. We may remove comments that violate these guidelines, are disruptive to the community, or are otherwise inappropriate.

Repeated or serious violations may result in:
